Can I enter a category more than once?


No, you cannot enter the same dog in a particular category more than once, even with a different photo. You can however enter the same dog in other categories one time. For example, there are seven categories, you can enter your dog once in each category with seven different photos.




I have more than one dog, can I enter all my dogs?


Yes, you can enter each individual dog in any, or all, of the categories one time.




How will I know if my entry is successful?


You will receive an email confirmation once your entry has been received by PAAWstival at PAAW House. Emails can occasionally land in your junk folder, do check.




How will I know if I get through to the next round?


You will be contacted by a member of the PAAW House team via email once the judging has taken place, after the closing date for all entries. We will not be able to provide any information before the judging process takes place.




What happens if a category is full before the closing date?


Once a category is full this information will be displayed on the relevant category on the competition website www.paawstival.co.uk. There will be no further opportunity to enter this category, you can still enter other categories which are not full. Details in our Competition Terms and Conditions.




Do the finalists need to attend the live event?


Yes, you must be available to attend the live event on both days Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th September, with your dog, if you proceed to this stage of the competition.




What happens if the live event cannot take place due to COVID?


We have processes in place to hold the finals online should there be any further lockdown restrictions as stated in the Competition Terms and Conditions.

What are the competition rules?


The competition will run from 11th March 2021 until 1st June 2021. If a category is full before 1st June 2021 entries for that category will close on that date and it will be announced on the website. To enter your dog into the PAAWstival Awards, you need to fill out the entry form on the Competition Website and submit photographs (in a virus-free jpeg following the instructions on the Competition Website). All Entries must be received by PAAW House through their Competition Website by no later than 1st June 2021. There is a £5 charge to register a dog for each category of the competition. Only one (1) Entry is allowed per dog per category. Once your Entry and Entry Fee are received, you will receive an email confirming your Entry to the email address provided with your entry. Please check junk email if you do not see the email in your inbox. By submitting an Entry, you are agreeing that you have read and will be bound by the terms and conditions of the competition (see here). The Entries will be judged by a panel of judges selected by PAAW House in their discretion and announced prior to the live final. If you and your dog (entered) cannot attend the live final, then your Entry will not be eligible to receive a prize, the finals take place on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th September 2021. A valid Entry, once accepted, cannot be cancelled by you for any reason and the Entry Fee will not be refunded unless for one of the reasons set out in clause 5.3 of the Terms and Conditions of the competition. The competition is open to all residents in the UK aged 18 or over and their dogs except for PAAW House or its holding or subsidiary companies. There is a limit of one Entry to each category per dog. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed. Entries to each category of the competition carries equal weighting and each will be judged on their merits. PAAW House reserves all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the prize competition. PAAW House will not accept entries which: Contain any content that gives PAAW House or the judge’s suspicion that you have cheated, are using deception, or fraudulent or unsportsmanlike behaviour of any kind. Are automatically generated by computer, incomplete, or completed in bulk. Contain photographs which fall into one of the following categories: A photograph which could be interpreted as cruel, harmful, or non-respectful to a dog’s wellbeing. A photograph which contains watermarks including your name, initials, logo, date from the camera settings or other words or symbols, or any 3rd party branding which is embossed or imprinted anywhere on your entry. A photograph which includes any dog breeds banned in Great Britain. A photograph which is defamatory, indecent or violates any third party’s rights, offensive, unlawful, obscene, threatening, harassing, hateful, racially or ethnically offensive, promotes political positions or actions, encourages conduct that would be considered a criminal offence, gives rise to civil liability, violates any law or is otherwise inappropriate, or contains advertisements or solicitations of business. A photograph that does not belong to the entrant. Entries received after the closing date or once a category is full. Please check competition Terms and Conditions for full competition details.




Where will the finals take place?


The final will take place at PAAWstival 2021 at Mudchute Farm on the aptly named 'Isle of Dogs'. Address: Pier St, Isle of Dogs, London E14 3HP




When do entries close?


Entries close on 01.06.2021 at 11.59pm or when the category is full.
